Tokyo – September 16, 2015 – OPEN8 invited Mr. Masayasu Morita of Hitomedia, Inc. as an outside director at the board meeting held on September 15, 2015. In line with this, we have resolved to establish a new board of directors.

As a new marketing technology company for the smartphone era, OPEN8 will further accelerate its business by establishing a management structure to further expand its market and promote its business.

Mr. Morita has traveled extensively to universities and graduate schools abroad and holds a Master’s degree in Education from Harvard University and a Master’s degree in Philosophy from Cambridge University. After returning to Japan at the age of 25, he became a founding member of the board of directors of a language publishing company, which was listed on JASDAQ in 2006. After that, he founded Hitomedia, Inc. In addition, he has experience as a university professor and in domestic and international corporate management. He will provide advice based on his extensive management know-how and support in introducing overseas technology and exploring the possibility of overseas expansion.

We provide the “OPEN8 CORE TECHNOLOGY” which consists of algorithm and software modules as an API. It can be used as a stand-alone solution or in combination with multiple technologies and can be used by corporate needs.

(3) MLaaS (Machine Learning as a Service) Business
We build our own unique model based on the company’s private data and develop original solutions in combination with our “OPEN8 CORE TECHNOLOGY”.
