Here are some of the areas in which we are particularly active in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs).
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the successor to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) established in 2001.
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the successor to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) established in 2001. As described in the “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” adopted at the UN Summit in September 2015,the MDGs are international goals for the period from 2016 to 2030.

SGDs consists of 17 goals and 169 targets to achieve a sustainable world and pledge to “leave no one behind” on the planet.

Delivering the Joy of Communication
Providing Video BRAIN, a video editing cloud service, to elementary and junior high schools nationwide
Under the GIGA School concept, which began in 2019 to provide one computer for every student and high-speed network across Japan, Open8 is providing Video BRAIN for free of charge to elementary and junior high schools nationwide to play an important role in realizing the objectives of the new Courses of Study by utilizing the characteristics and strengths of ICT in education and learning.
By providing experiences to collaborate with classmates, children from different grades and other schools, and people in the community through video contents, we support the acquisition of proactive and interactive learning.

By replacing information in business documents, flyers, catalogs, etc., which used to be printed with text and still images, with video through Video BRAIN, will lead to protecting the environment through paperless.
Open8 supports companies in improving flexibility in working styles, reducing costs, and increasing operational efficiency through a digital shift, while also supporting the promotion of the SDGs by companies from the perspective of environmental protection.
