AI recommends footage and assets from over 52 million items
including more than 5 million available for free
Tokyo – October 5, 2020 – The in-house AI video editing cloud “Video BRAIN” provided by OPEN8 has expanded an additional of 5.28 million usable free footage and assets by linking APIs with three major global stock/video image providers. AI will recommend the image or video from over 52 million assets in total, depending on the storyline and the objective of the usage of your content.
In a survey conducted for companies using Video BRAIN, there were high requests for more selections of images, videos, BGMs as well as an easier search function. The UI has also been revised to a more user-friendly, easy searching narrowing functions to respond to our existing user’s requirements.
- More than 5 million fee assets available
In addition to amanaimages a major Japanese stock photo service, PIXTA, a digital photo and illustration marketplace, and LeTRONC a video magazine for excursions, three free asset providers (total of 5.28 million free assets) are added to Video BRAIN to allow you to select footage and videos to create videos even if you don’t have any materials of your own.
Today, you can now use any assets that match your video from approximately a total of 52 million1 items.

- Recommended assets for each scene
The AI analyzes the text information and extracts keywords, and then displays the recommended asset that matches each video scene. You don’t need to enter keywords in the search box to search for an asset but instead, you can select from the recommendation to speed up the video editing process. You can also refine your search by the type of asset (image or video), by price (paid or free), or by each service provider.
