Release of a new commercial ad “Tsuru no Ongaeshi”
on-air nationwide from November 16th
Tokyo – November 27, 2020 – OPEN8 Inc. who provides Video BRAIN, an in-house AI video editing cloud service, will start airing a new commercial “Tsuru no Ongaeshi (The Grateful Crane)” featuring Nao, an actress who has been active in many TV shows and movies, including NHK’s morning drama series “Hanbun, Aoi. (Half Blue Sky)”, from November 16, 2020. The new commercial will be aired on taxi signage nationwide.
Sales videos, video ads, recruitment videos, etc. “I need a video today!” When Nao is asked to make a video, she takes on the task with a smile on her face. Then she enters a conference room with a sign on the door “DO NOT ENTER”. When Nao comes out a few minutes later, all the videos are ready and the people who requested them are surprised.

Same as our first commercial, Masahiro Kitao of NORTH AND SOUTH Inc. which handles a wide range of corporate advertising from branding venture companies to global campaigns for national clients, took part as the creative director to convey the features of this in-house AI video editing cloud service “Video BRAIN” in a simple but comical touch.

Behind the Scenes
The filming took place at the Open8 head office in Tokyo. The office was furnished for the filming and looked so different that the employees were surprised when they saw the final commercial. The conference room used in the scene is usually used as the president’s office.
